E0007h is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the A Disintegrin and Metalloprotease 30 (Angiogenin) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing Angiogenin. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the E0007h kit is based on Angiogenin antibody-Angiogenin antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Angiogenin antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, recombinant, Angiogenin. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted human body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay):Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess intra-assay precision.

Linearity
The linearity of the kit was assayed by testing samples spiked with appropriate concentration of Angiogenin and their serial dilutions. The results were demonstrated by the percentage of calculated concentration to the expected.

General Annotation


Sub Unit:
Homodimer (PubMed:25372031). Interacts with and forms a tight 1:1 complex with RNH1. Dimerization of two such complexes may occur.


Function:
Binds to actin on the surface of endothelial cells; once bound, angiogenin is endocytosed and translocated to the nucleus. Stimulates ribosomal RNA synthesis including that containing the initiation site sequences of 45S rRNA. Cleaves tRNA within anticodon loops to produce tRNA-derived stress-induced fragments (tiRNAs) which inhibit protein synthesis and triggers the assembly of stress granules (SGs). Angiogenin induces vascularization of normal and malignant tissues. Angiogenic activity is regulated by interaction with RNH1 in vivo.
