Product Overview:
E2003m is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the A Disintegrin and Metalloprotease 30 (Apolipoprotein B-100) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing Apolipoprotein B-100. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the E2003m kit is based on Apolipoprotein B-100 antibody-Apolipoprotein B-100 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Apolipoprotein B-100 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, recombinant, Apolipoprotein B-100. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted human body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

General Annotation

Sub Unit:
Interacts with PCSK9. Interacts with MTTP.

Function:
Apolipoprotein B is a major protein constituent of chylomicrons (apo B-48), LDL (apo B-100) and VLDL (apo B-100). Apo B-100 functions as a recognition signal for the cellular binding and internalization of LDL particles by the apoB/E receptor.

Subcellular Location:
Cytoplasm Secreted
