Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay):Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess intra-assay precision.
Intra-Assay CV: ≤4.6%
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays):Three samples of known concentration were tested in five separate assays to assess inter-assay precision.
Inter-Assay CV: ≤7.6%
Recovery
Recovery was determined by spiking various levels of Neuronal acetylcholine receptor subunit alpha-7 into serum and plasma.

Linearity
The linearity of the kit was assayed by testing samples spiked with appropriate concentration of Neuronal acetylcholine receptor subunit alpha-7 and their serial dilutions.
The results were demonstrated by the percentage of calculated concentration to the expected.

General Annotation
Sub Unit:
Homopentamer (By similarity). Interacts with RIC3; which is required for proper folding and assembly (PubMed:15927954, PubMed:16120769). Interacts with LYPD6 (By similarity). Interacts with the alpha-conotoxin RgIA (PubMed:25740413).
Function:
After binding acetylcholine, the AChR responds by an extensive change in conformation that affects all subunits and leads to opening of an ion-conducting channel across the plasma membrane. The channel is blocked by alpha-bungarotoxin.
Subcellular Location:
Cell junction
Synapse
Postsynaptic cell membrane
Multi-pass membrane protein
Cell membrane
Multi-pass membrane protein
