Apobec1 (GeneName), C->U-editing enzyme APOBEC-1 (ProteinName), ABEC1_RAT.
Rat Apobec1/ C->U-editing enzyme APOBEC-1 ELISA Kit
Apolipoprotein B mRNA-editing enzyme 1, mRNA(cytosine(6666)) deaminase 1
Natural and recombinant rat C->U-editing enzyme APOBEC-1
Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids
Homodimer. Part of the apolipoprotein B mRNA editing complex with A1CF. Interacts with SYNCRIP. Interacts with HNRPAB.
Catalytic component of the apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme complex which is responsible for the postranscriptional editing of a CAA codon for Gln to a UAA codon for stop in the APOB mRNA. May also play a role in the epigenetic regulation of gene expression by participating in DNA demethylation.
