Product Overview:
E1301Ge is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the A Disintegrin and Metalloprotease 30 (Asymmetric dimethylarginine) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing Asymmetric dimethylarginine. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the E1301Ge kit is based on Asymmetric dimethylarginine antibody-Asymmetric dimethylarginine antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Asymmetric dimethylarginine antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, recombinant, Asymmetric dimethylarginine. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted human body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Linearity
The linearity of the kit was assayed by testing samples spiked with appropriate concentration of Asymmetric dimethylarginine and their serial dilutions. The results were demonstrated by the percentage of calculated concentration to the expected.

General Annotation

Sub Unit:
N/A

Function:
Asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) is a naturally occurring chemical found in blood plasma. It is a metabolic by-product of continual protein modification processes in the cytoplasm of all human cells. It is closely related to L-arginine, a conditionally-essential amino acid. ADMA interferes with L-arginine in the production of nitric oxide, a key chemical involved in normal endothelial function and, by extension, cardiovascular health.
