Mediates the activation of NADPH oxidases, perhaps by maintaining critical levels of cholesterol required for membrane lipid raft formation during neutrophil differentiation (PubMed:22140257). Anchors the lamina and the heterochromatin to the inner nuclear membrane (By similarity).
